Have you ever regretted the fact that you remember? There are times when I wish I did not remember. Yes, I said it. I am simply asking for the pain of some memories to dissipate.
How we remember “old” days take us to different places in our mind. Good memories often excite, encourage and motivate us. Bad memories make us hide, run or deny the pain they caused. Yet they are there.
Always remember the good times you had. The bad times always want the good times to forget. It’s the LITTLE good things that happened that are more significant. Focusing on the BAD only stirs up negativity and then “hurt people will hurt people”.
Writing down what you feel as moments take place in your life is crucial for perspective. I find that when I write it down it is real. But when I go back a while later, I discover a different feeling about it.
Sometimes when I write it doesn’t make sense. But on a different day it does. So……….. just write. You’ll discover your inside. You’ll expose your mind and heart.
Just write it down. Find perspective. It will not blind you.

I am a collection of thoughts and memories and likes and dislikes. I am the things that have happened to me and the sum of everything I’ve ever done. I am the clothes I wear on my back. I am every place and every person and every object I have ever come across. I am a bag of bones stuck to a very large rock spinning a thousand miles an hour. Macaulay Culkin
